To all FGF supporters, friends, responders, media, and
most of all 9/11 responders: We can only hope that 2008 will be a better year for yesterday's heroes, then the previous ones before. The fact is,and the sad thing is the further we get away from 9/11,the more catastrophic each individual case gets. No American, and certainly no "HERO" should live like we have the last 6.5 years. It is the my promise of myself and this foundation, that is fueled by compassion, that we will continue to fight, advocate, care, assist and treat all heroes accordingly. As we grow, all you brave souls will benefit from a foundation that cares if you have food on your table, heat in your house, gas in your cars, and that you get and have the proper benefits you all have earned and deserve. I know first hand none of you asked to get sick or injured, but it's okay to ask for help, and not feel ashamed of it. Each and everyone of you are my heroes, for your resolve and fight to make it this long while our government has let us down. For that you are heroes twice and god bless you all. |

Distinguished members of the 9/11 community: It seems that out side our great New York Delegation and a handful of other great elected officials across this great nation that our leaders of this country have historical amnesia. Over 6.5 years many of these self proclaimed leaders of the greatest country in the world took an oath to help those brave souls who risked their lives on 9/11 and the days weeks, and months after. How funny, well actually sad and disappointing that many did not follow through on their promises. My message to you so called elected officials it’s all right to admit ignorance, because that is how we learn. Abe Lincoln once said and I quote “any nation that does not honor its heroes, will not long endure” Our great late president was talking to all of you members of congress and senate, and I am sure he too is tired of your political rhetoric. The time is now to help these heroes of yesterday, and stop playing political games and god with human life. Shame on those who can help and choose not to, and shame on those who do not follow in the foot steps of our great elected officials in Sincerely, John E.
