The following represents the Feal Good Foundation procedure and protocols for determining if an applicant is eligible to receive financial assistance from the organization. Please read the following carefully and submit a completed application on line.

1) You must be a 9/11 First Responder who worked/volunteered in the rescue recovery and/or cleanup efforts. Such work/volunteerism must have occurred between September 11, 2001 and May 15, 2002.
2) You must be enrolled in the WTC Medical Monitoring Program at Mount Sinai or one of the various affiliated satellite institutions.
3) You must fill out and complete the application provided on our website
4) You must provide proof that you worked/ volunteered at Ground Zero or the World Trade Center Site (South of Canal Street, stretching from the East River to the Hudson River). Acceptable forms of proof of worker/volunteer status are, but are not limited to:
a) wtc id tag
b) Acknowledgment from your employer that you worked at Ground Zero/WTC Site
c) Acknowledgment from the organization(s) with which you volunteered that you  volunteered at Ground Zero/WTC Site.
5) You must be facing financial difficulty and have an inability to pay bills/rent etc.

Please understand that other forms of evidence of your work/volunteer status will be considered and failure to provide the above mentioned articles will not automatically disqualify you from assistance. However, failure to provide sufficient proof, as determined by the FealGood Foundation Board of Directors, will disqualify you from benefits.

After all eligibility requirements are met and all necessary information is reviewed by appropriate personnel,  the Feal Good Foundation President and Vice President  will determine the initial financial assistance the foundation will provide the Applicant. Receipt of such initial benefits in no way assures the recipient of additional future benefit payments from the foundation. In no case will any recipient receive more than $2000 within one Calendar year without a 2/3 vote of the FealGood Foundation Executive Committee. A continued inability by the Responder to meet basic monthly bills will disqualify him/her from continued benefit payments. Additionally, the ability to meet the above mentioned criteria in no way guarantees that the Responder will receive financial assistance from the foundation. All donations are considered on case by case basis.

The FealGood Foundation will also assist the Responder with groceries, vouchers and/or clothing for the Responder and/or eligible children. Such expenses will not count against the $2000 annual cap for monetary benefits.

The Feal Good Foundation  foundation relies upon donations to the organization from benevolent sources and its ability to provide financial assistance to First Responders is entirely contingent on the donations it receives from such sources.  All donations made by the FealGood Foundation are contingent upon the financial resources that it has at the time of request for donation. In no case is any applicant guaranteed the $2000 annual maximum amount.

The Feal Good Foundation will not maintain your monthly bills.

You can contact the Feal Good Foundation at anytime with any concerns, or issues that you currently have, however that does not mean that you will receive what you may be asking for.

The Feal Good Foundation will do their best to help any applicant.
